Parent SUPPORT

D&L is a specialised training institution dedicated to advancing cognition, learning, and emotion through evidence-based neurodevelopmental education. We work with parents to translate developmental science into practical, effective strategies that support children’s growth.

Grounded in neuroscience, developmental psychology, and learning theory, our programmes focus on how the brain develops, how children acquire new skills, and how emotional foundations shape lifelong wellbeing. By combining research with hands-on guidance, we help parents build everyday environments and interactions that support healthy developmental pathways. We believe children thrive when the adults around them are informed, confident, and equipped with the right tools.

Our training supports families to:

  • Understand early brain and behavioural development
  • Support cognition, executive function, and early learning
  • Foster emotional regulation, resilience, and secure relationships
  • Recognise developmental needs and respond with appropriate strategies
  • Create rich, responsive, developmentally meaningful experiences

Our team brings together expertise from neurodevelopment, education, psychology, and early childhood practice. Through workshops, courses, and coaching, we offer accessible, high-quality training that bridges the gap between science and everyday family life.

At D&L, we transform scientific insight into practical action — so children can grow with the support, understanding, and opportunities they deserve.

How we support PARENTS with children from 0 to 19 years

1. Free AI Parent Support (0–7 years)

Our free AI Parent Support is available 24/7 for general questions about child development from birth to 7 years — including topics such as language, movement, feeding, sleep, and everyday routines.

Use the AI Parent Support to ask everyday questions and explore practical ideas. The AI answers using Develop & Learn’s curated parent guidance and keeps clear safety boundaries.

Good for: practical ideas, daily routines, and understanding what may be contributing to what you are seeing — without judgement.

Important: This is not an assessment, diagnosis, or medical advice, and it cannot decide whether a child has a condition.

2. D&L child development tracker (0–7 years)

A short, structured check-in to help you understand what may be emerging and what may need extra support.

The tracker asks a small set of age-relevant questions across key developmental areas (movement, daily living skills, communication, learning, and social-emotional development). It produces a simple summary signal to help you decide what to do next.

Good for: getting a high-level picture, spotting potential “watch” areas, and knowing when it may be helpful to speak with a specialist.

Important: This is not an assessment, diagnosis, or medical advice, and it cannot decide whether a child has a condition. It is a guidance tool designed to support parents and to help you choose next steps.

How to use it:

  • Choose your child’s age (0–7 years)
  • Answer based on everyday life (not only their “best day”)
  • If you are unsure, select “Not sure” — this is common
  • Use the summary to guide what to support next, or to request individual guidance

If you want individual support: email us at consultations@developandlearn.com and we will schedule a session with an appropriate Develop & Learn specialist.

4. Two hours Individual Consultation + action plan (0-19 years)

Whether you are focused on supporting your child’s potential or you have specific developmental areas you are concerned about, you can work with a neurodevelopmental educator to clarify priorities and next steps.

This consultation may include:

  • an individual consultation discussion
  • a short written summary
  • suggested weekly activities
  • follow-up reassessment (optional)

Objective: improved everyday functioning and support from a neurodevelopmental perspective.

Individual consultations are supportive conversations that help parents turn worries into clarity.

What: A guided discussion to organise what you are seeing, what matters most, and what to focus on next.
Why: To reduce overwhelm and uncertainty, and help you feel confident during play, routines, and everyday moments.
