I am the newest member of the Organisational and Staff Development Unit at the University of Strathclyde. My interests include using technology and social media to enhance learning and issues around digital citizenship, health and well-being. I have a PhD in Sociology from the University of Aberdeen, which I completed in 2009.

I have worked in academic development at the University of Strathclyde since 2005, first in the Centre for Academic Practice and now in the Organisational and Staff Development Unit. My interests include creativity and divergence, knowledge exchange, ‘risky’ pedagogies, and the impact of emerging technologies on Higher Education. I contribute to all academic development at the University and oversee Strathclyde’s Programme for Academic practice, Researcher development, and Knowledge exchange (SPARK). I am currently completing a PhD in Creative Writing (Strathclyde), having previously completed a Masters in English Literature (Acadia), a Masters in Library & Information Studies (Dalhousie), and a Bachelor (Honours) in English Literature (Alberta).
